Friends,
It has been a really emotional few weeks and there’s just no way to avoid leading with the saddest news ever. My beloved Maggie, transitioned on last week. She has been my ride or die for the last 17 years and I am utterly gutted and totally unmoored. My only comfort is how beautiful and peaceful her exit was and that I know she is romping again with Scrappy. Needless to say, I have been taking it easy and doing what I can to be gentle with myself. The universe has been conspiring to support me and put me in the way of many dear friends who have helped soften the blow.
I arrived yesterday in Salt Lake City and immediately blew out the biggest window in the rig. So. Much. Glass. Everywhere. I’m sorting through that now. At least it’s going to snow this week. (insert maniacal laugh) I guess it’s been 2 years and this is my first whoopsie. I’m blaming grief.
